Law Reform

The Law Reform Program was established in 1996 to promote human rights and the rule of law. The program supports initiatives in the field of access to justice, improving the quality of human rights training and education, promotion of legislative reforms and development of tolerance.

The mission of the program is to promote the principles of equality, justice, respect for, and observance of human rights and the rule of law.

Objectives:

  • increase access to information;
  • assist in providing equal access to justice;
  • assist in ensuring equal access for all citizens to quality health care and education with a focus on socially vulnerable groups; and
  • increase the capacity of the program partners, and support the human rights movement in Kazakhstan.
